Well today started off with a bang - literally. Around 4:30 AM Jason and I awoke to a huge crash and a brightly lit bedroom - it didn't take long for us to realize a serious storm was approaching. Once the tornado sirens started screaming Evelyn woke up and sounded her own little siren. The rain started pounding the house and the lighting lit up every room. We brought Evelyn into our bed and while Jason fell right back into slumberland - his incredibly loud snoring tipped me off - Evelyn decided it was the perfect time to use Mommy's head as a jungle gym. So...for TWO HOURS she climbed all over me - stuck her bum in my face, pulled my hair, stuffed her pacifier in my mouth - basically keeping us both up. I gave up around 7 and got out of bed. At least I knew it was going to be a gorgeous day - only 110 degree heat index. Give me a break!

The mess we woke up to this morning. Luckily all we need is a new umbrella.

So Evelyn and I were a little grumpy today seeing what little sleep we got last night - but that wasn't anything The WIGGLES couldn't cure! We went with our besties, Tory and Adyson Wantuck and had a great time! They performed some of the old classics including Evelyn's favorite - Fruit Salad! She clapped and danced along to most of the songs and was just awe struck by all the activity on stage. The Wiggles had a whole new crew of Wiggle Dancers - even a former Olympic gymnast from the USSR! Their show was filled with all sorts of cool gymnastics - enough to keep a 13 month old entertained for more than an hour!

We even got to meet one of the Wiggles - Murray! He came up to the section we were sitting in and walked in the aisle right in front of us! He was smiling and cruising by people in order to get back to the stage by the end of the song but when he walked past Evelyn he actually stopped, smiled and said hello to her. Good ole' Murray recognizes a beauty when he sees one!

Getting ready for the show and super excited!
