Evelyn and I met up with the Wantuck crew for a fun day at Little Rock's Children's Discovery Museum. They had a great selection of displays and two little areas designated for children 6 and under. Evelyn had a great time - only thing that would have made it better is if Jason hadn't had to work that day.

Evelyn just pointed and kept repeating "Fish, Fish!" She kept coming back to this little aquarium when we went to look at other displays - she sure does love her fishies!

Tory and the girls learning about the different topographies of The Natural State.

All the kids were gathered in this common area to wait for the live animal exhibit. I think Evelyn was more excited to run around and say hi to all the other children than the actual animals. Not that I blame her..two of the three animals were a snake and a tarantula. Yuck!

The third animal, however, was a chinchilla! Did you know these guys can jump about 5 feet off the ground? Amazing. I was so surprised at how soft this little animal was...not to mention the amount of poop it left on the floor!

Waiting in line to pet the little chinchilla.

Tory's mom, Debbie, held a mesmerized Evelyn checking out a pretty intense bee hive!

It was pretty cool - Adyson seemed to think so too!

Besties - so cute!

This was a neat exhibit - a metal disc continually spun around and you could throw different shaped, sized and weighted balls onto it and watch them fly across the table!

Evelyn obviously loved it!

This was in one of the 6 and under only areas. Evelyn went straight to the letters and numbers - she's such a little genius - not that I'm biased or anything.

This little creek path led Evelyn right to a stage that had a video camera, piano and fancy lights. She performed a few pieces before moving on to her next adventure...

A baby treadmill! Ha! Is she Jason's daughter or what?

The girls performed a little rendition of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" before we left. Ok...so maybe we performed it but the girls danced and squealed while sitting in their very own rowboat!
