The girls and I had a little fun out in the garden yesterday.
Let's start off with our festive Easter Tree! We strung up 48 plastic eggs on our bare, twiggy cherry tree a few weeks before Easter and at first - although colorful - it looked a little sad.

This past August Jason decided to learn a little more about the Catholic faith and began attending RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes every Wednesday night with our church.
After many months of prayer and thoughtful discussions Jason officially entered the Catholic Church! Saturday night at our St. Edward's Easter Vigil Mass, in front of friends and family, he received his First Communion and Confirmation. It was a beautiful ceremony and I cried tears of joy. We are both so very happy and excited to grow together in our faith and love and to share all of this with our two beautiful daughters.
