The girls and I had a little fun out in the garden yesterday.

Evelyn wore a very special ladybug dress from her Ga and Poppie.

But I couldn't find the matching bloomers in the chaos that I call Evelyn's closet so I had to make do with a spare...

What? You can't see? How about we zoom in a little closer.

Our Arkansas-Grown friends, Kay and Tommy, gave us these bloomers. They claim we can't deny the girls' roots. I have to admit they are pretty cute. Evelyn thinks so too!

I asked Evelyn to go give Aurelia a kiss and she slowly walked over to her little sister puckering her little baby lips the entire way.

Hello sweetness.

Back inside Aurelia was liberated from her car seat and free to roam the living room!

My sweet little girl turned 7 months today. She weighs 19 pounds (the same weight Evelyn was at 0ne YEAR) and measures 28 inches! I'll have you note she's wearing a 12 month onesie here.

It is truly amazing how different two little girls can be! Truly. Amazing.

Evelyn got a brand new princess ball and was super excited!

Let's start off with our festive Easter Tree! We strung up 48 plastic eggs on our bare, twiggy cherry tree a few weeks before Easter and at first - although colorful - it looked a little sad.

BUT THEN...practically overnight...all the blossoms bloomed! GORGEOUS!

Then look what I found dangling in the tree!

Then I found a little blossom of my own! Aurelia and her Gigi!

Evelyn wasn't feeling too hot - two "i"teeth coming in at once - so I got her all comfy on the couch and put a little Mary Poppins on the television...then one by one her cousins crawled up there and cuddled under the covers to listen to a couple songs about sugar, spoons and jolly holidays. So cute!

Evelyn didn't do too bad finding a few choice eggs of her own.

...no need to unwrap it - let's just plop it right in there wrapper and all.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

This past August Jason decided to learn a little more about the Catholic faith and began attending RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes every Wednesday night with our church.

After many months of prayer and thoughtful discussions Jason officially entered the Catholic Church! Saturday night at our St. Edward's Easter Vigil Mass, in front of friends and family, he received his First Communion and Confirmation. It was a beautiful ceremony and I cried tears of joy. We are both so very happy and excited to grow together in our faith and love and to share all of this with our two beautiful daughters.
