...who loves Princesses most of all?
"Why Miss Evelyn Claire Shephard, of course."

Evelyn has a brand new obsession..."pee-sees." Anything in a dress that sings, twirls, is friends with animals or enchanted house-hold items and has a Prince Charming waiting in the wings is Evelyn's new love.

Well...today her obsession reached a whole new level. Today she got her very first Princess doll - Snow White! (Thanks Sue and Derek!)

"MUAH! I love you, Snow White!"

I decided to spoil her rotten and turned on the movie this afternoon...whoa.

"How can she be up there AND down here with me???"

"I'm not sure how she's doing it - but this is pretty amazing."

Last night we watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" with the girls...well, with Evelyn. Aurelia sort of fell asleep.

We had never seen the movie before and there were a few parts that kind of grossed me out. I have a tendency to get wrapped up in a movie - I like to say it's because I'm a focused individual - but truth be told it's just easy for me to get sucked in to something with a little suspense and mystery. Jason was taking pictures of Aurelia and started laughing when he saw my face.

He had to call my name a few times before I even heard him. Hey - I was focused. :)

No big events - just a few shots of the girls being sweet, precious and delicious!

Evelyn and Aurelia got these cute matching outfits from our friends Courtney and Tim Fritz - aren't the adorable!?

Since they were good about posing for the camera we went outside to our favorite new spot - the water table!

Aurelia sure does love that water!

And Evelyn does too...nothing like a little dump of water to cool things off a bit.

Later that night we rewarded ourselves with blueberry nectarine cobbler - it was amazing.

Poor little Ree Ree didn't get any but that didn't get her down.

All smiles!

"Yeah baby, yeah!"

Poor Truman didn't get any either. He's not smiling though.

Food coma.

Daddy and his freshly bathed baby girls!

Oh to be included in this conversation...

Must have been one funny story!

AND it ended in hugs and kisses! My kind of tale!

This little baby loves chocolate ice-cream...even if it is fake. Nummy! Thanks Plastic Kara!

She also loves to get into all the dvd baskets and make a mess. Stinker.

Modeling and looking pretty in a new ladybug outfit from Gigi.

"Hey! I can model too!" You sure can pickle.

Lucky little girl - another cute outfit from her Aunt Bob!

Outfit was complete with pretty pink sandals and sassy sunglasses!

Bye bye! Come again soon!

The whole family: Halls in purple, Shephards in green, Martins in blue and Senecas in yellow.

PoppieGa with all 7 of their grandchildren.

The Hall ladies.

Senecas - with one on the way!

Poppie and his Pickle.

Jason and I have wanted to build a pergola over our back deck since we moved into this house - 5 years ago. Well, we finally have our pergola - but it isn't over the deck. We found a great little kit at SAMS Club for a great little price - 1/5 the cost of a custom built one. How could we pass it up? Our friend, Tim, who is stationed in Germany but back here for a few weeks came over to help Jason put it together.

The boys were all smiles.

I sure do love men doing manly things - like building me a pretty little pergola.

Once everything was done I grabbed the girls, stuffed them in their matching bathing suits, put them in front of the trusty ole' water table and made Jason pose for this studly picture.

We have BIG plans for this little space. We're headed to Lowes tomorrow morning to pick out pavers and a few more climbing jasmine to plant around the bases. We're even going to check out patio furniture...I tell you - it's going to be a luxury resort back there when we're through! I'm thrilled because the girls and I need a space to escape to when it's unbelievably hot outside and we just can't stand being inside anymore.

I left for a minute and when I came back this is how I found my family:

Uh-huh...Jason is sitting in a chair...spraying his children down with a garden hose.

He loves it.

I know Aurelia...I know.

I don't know what's more funny about this picture: Evelyn SITTING in the water table or Aurelia's incredibly large, grass-covered ham hocks.

Aurelia is not one to be left out. She too had her turn in the table.

For all you single ladies out there - this is our SINGLE friend, Blake. He's a pilot. He's funny. He's smart. He's an all around incredible guy. AND he's single. Contact me for further information.

She'll want to seriously hurt me when she's older for posting this...but I can't help it! It's so gross and cute and really gross at the same time! She's forgive me - right?

I can't leave you with that last image - so here is some sweetness to warm your heart. While I was in the kitchen cooking dinner I suddenly noticed the absence of high-pitched screeching from my youngest and immediately thought she was choking on something or had fallen and knocked herself out.

I dropped what I was doing and ran around the corner to find this sweet scene.

I love it.
